How to order from the on-line shop?

We are offering you secure 24h on-line ordering service. To place your order, please go through the following steps:

• Please choose the items from the on-line shop, submit your contact information and the delivery address.
• If you already have an account in our on-line shop, just login using your login and password.
• Alternatively, you can send an email to sales@openrb.com or sales@genohm.com indicating products you would like to order, your company name, complete shipping address, phone number and your business registration data.
• After receiving your order, we will come back to you by email within 5 working days with order confirmation.
• If you will choose to pay by wire transfer, we will send you an invoice with shipping and handling fees included.

If you would like to become a distributor, please write to sales@openrb.com or sales@genohm.com, informing us on the nature of your business and estimated targeted annual business volume with us. We will come back to you as soon as possible with proposed terms of cooperation.

If you would like to order custom product not in stock, please write to sales@openrb.com or sales@genohm.com, and we will do our best to offer you requested solution.

How to pay?

You can choose one of the following payment methods:

• Pay via bank transfer.
• Pay by Credit Card or existing PayPal account. In this case you will be redirected to the Paypal site where you will be allowed to login into your existing account (if you have one). Or fill the necessary fields to pay by credit card (if you don’t have PayPal account).
• Pay by Credit Card (VISA / MasterCard). Your payment will be redirected through a secure bank gateway. We do not store any credit card information on our servers and your payment will be processed by the bank directly. If you chose credit card payment method please make sure that billing and shipping addresses match, your credit is valid for Internet use, expiry date is valid and there are sufficient funds available on the card.

Terms of delivery

Cost of delivery is calculated separately for each order and is subject to your order configuration, destination place, type of delivery and carrier.

We deliver from the warehouse in Riga, Latvia (European Union) to anywhere in the world.  By default, orders placed in the web shop we ship out under DDU conditions by Incoterms with FedEx in most of the countries. Alternatively, we can arrange delivery via DHL, TNT, EMS, UPS or any other forwarder depending on customer’s request. Please let us know your preferences when placing the order.

There is a possibility for ex-works delivery when customer pays for the delivery in his country at the local forwarder’s office. You can order your own shipping company to pick up the goods from our warehouse.

Products available in stock are shipped out within 5 working days from payment reception. KNX products are typically delivered within 10-20 working days from payment reception. Delivery terms of custom products not in stock are agreed separately.

Taxation and duties

If your company is located in the European Union and has a valid VAT tax ID you will pay net price VAT excluded. If your company is located in the EU, but does not have valid VAT tax ID or you are private person in the EU we will add 21% VAT tax to your order.

If your company is located outside the EU, you will not have to pay any taxes or duties on our side, and you will pay net price VAT excluded.  However, probably you will need to pay taxes and/or duties in your home country. Please make sure you are aware of taxation and duties in your home country before making an order.

Product returns

Items purchased in our store may be returned only with prior written agreement from Embedded Systems upon request on the following terms and conditions:

New products:

• Claim for new products return will be considered within 10 working days from the date of delivery.
• Product must be new, unopened and in original carton. Any product received opened or used will be subject to return or no credit issued. Any returned products that have been damaged in transit due to insufficient packaging will be subject to no credit issued.
• A 20% restocking charge will apply to any approved new product returns.
• All freight and duties on returned new products are the responsibility of the customer.

Defective products:

• Product must be defective as a result of manufacturer fault.
• All defective items must be properly packaged when returned. Any returned products that have been damaged in transit due to insufficient packaging will be subject to no credit issued.
• Products must still be within our standard warranty period of one year. Out-of-date products are subject to return or no credit issued.
• We will cover all freight and duties on returned defective products, if shipment method and forwarder are pre-aligned with us prior to dispatch.

Privacy policy

Information collected from you is aimed to enable us to process your order – like name, address, email address and phone details. This information is for our internal use only and will only be used to notify you of our offers and updates. If you do not wish to receive offers and updates from embedded Systems, please notify us by email and.

Errors

We are doing our best to ensure all information presented on our site is accurate. We cannot take responsibility for any information provided by a third party, contained within our site, or for the contents of any links from our site.
